Does wearing reading glasses make your eyes worse?
Written by Renee Bachner | 0 commentsIf you are experiencing eyestrain and putting off getting reading glasses because you think you will make your eyes worse by becoming more dependent upon them - your wrong!
The need for reading glasses is part of normal aging. The muscles in your eyes just like your skin lose their elasticity so the muscles become tired trying to focus after reading for a while. Reading glasses makes up for that loss of muscle power and relaxes your eyes, relieving eyestrain.
Reading glasses correct blurry vision. You may find yourself wearing your readers more often because you see much clearer with them than without them. Wearing reading glasses will not change your eyes so that you become dependent on them; your brain is just getting used to seeing things clearly and is liking it!
