"The Ian single-vision reading glasses are great! Here is what I like about them: 1. The CR-39 lenses offer much better optical quality than typical polycarbonate lenses found on most single-vision readers. And the optical quality is the most important aspect to consider when buying glasses. 2. The longer temples (arms) are perfect for larger heads and this means a better fit for me. 3. The quality metal frame is durable 4. The design is perfect for me. I was looking for a more "mature" and understated design. I don't want the over-sized frames and other more trendy designs 5. The glasses came with two cases (!), and cleaning cloth. For me, this meant I was ready to go out of the box. Lastly, Renee was very helpful, and she puts a lot of consideration into her products and business. Thank you, Renee"

"I wanted to try a pair of optometrist grade reading glasses to see if there was a significant difference between them and the $15 average drugstore readers I've been using. I like to use the internet to research products and the businesses before I make purchases and Renee's Readers was a name that came up repeatedly in a number of searches, especially in user forums where reading glasses was the subject. I pulled up Renee's Readers and found several pairs I liked but I had a couple of questions so despite it being later in the evening. I was expecting to speak to speak to a person from another country who read off of a script so I was really surprised when a lady in New York answered the phone and I quickly found I was talking to Renee herself. I explained that I was wanting to try a very high quality pair of readers but wasn't interested in spending $200 and up to order through my optometrist. I explained the criteria I was looking for and how I wanted to be able to use them and she recommended I look at 2 models she thought would best meet my needs. I discovered that it was after store hours but Renee was so gracious and took the time to explain that she designed all of the frames herself drawing on her years as an optician and how she specified every detail of the process of creating of all reading glasses she sold. After a very helpful conversation, I went back to the website and decided on the Ian model and placed my order. When my readers came in, I waited until I got ready to get in bed and read and I cleaned a new pair of readers I'd purchased at a Walgreens and started out reading with them for several minutes and then switched to my Ians. While subtle, the difference was immediately noticeable. The clarity and crisp definition of the Ians was readily apparent. After about 30 minutes I switched back to the Walgreens readers and I could actually notice the difference and the Ians became my go to readers. I'm hard on glasses and I carry a cheap pair that hangs on my shirt during the day but when I settle in to use my laptop or read to documents or books, my Ians come out of the case. I am totally sold on Renee's Readers and I'm going to be adding additional pairs to keep in our vehicles and a couple of pairs just for going out with my friends because they are really stylish and my wife likes my Ians because they look so much nicer than my cheap "disposable" readers. Renee's Readers absolutely live up to the praise I found in researching high quality readers and I will be a customer for life!"

"After spending quite a lot of time searching for a comfortable and higher quality reading glass I found Renee's readers. I spoke with Renee and after we talked she suggested a specific reader for me to try. When they arrived I found that they did not fit my needs as I had anticipated. I called Renee and we again discussed an alternate and she suggested the Ian style. Renee made the return and replacement so easy and friendly. I feel strongly that this is a great company to do business with. I actually felt like a person who had their concerns listened to. If you find a style in Renee's online store that suits you I recommend that you order them. If you have any questions I am sure Renee will respond with the same great service that she did for this old guy who loves to read.
