Visual stimulus enters your eyes traveling to the retina shooting nerve impulses to your brain. Sometimes when you have even the slightest change to your prescription your brain needs to adapt to the modification of the imagery that is coming in. That’s the simple explanation.
What makes this so interesting is that every one of us processes imagery differently. So how you see things is quite different from the way I see things. The exact same things are seen and interpreted differently in each and every one of us.
