anything and everything ...Alzheimer's affects everyone

Every time I leave an Alzheimer’s meeting I can't stop thinking about the different stories I've heard. I think early onset is by far the worst although every Alzheimer's story is pretty bad.

Early-onset is a form of dementia that develops before 65 and although it affects a small percentage of our population it is devastating. It seems to become most obvious when people are in their fifties. A time where the demands of working and raising a family tend to slow down; a time where we look to take in more of life’s pleasures and enjoy what we didn’t have the time for before. Weddings, graduations, babies, holidays, cooking, gardening, friends, families, shopping, eating…anything and everything…Alzheimer’s affects everyone and everything.
