The Lenses:

Renee’s Readers have optical quality lenses taking into account near vision requirements that will give you sharp, clear vision. They are aspheric in design, which means that as your eyes move behind the lens; your vision will be clear and comfortable. Aspheric lenses also make the lenses thinner. The lenses are decentered to accommodate an average reading convergence of your eyes for both men and women. Daily use of your reading glasses involves a lot of on and off wear. Anti-reflective coatings are known to show smudges and scratch more easily. As a licensed optician, I know this can be annoying and can also affect how clearly you will see. For this reason, Renee's Readers do not come with an anti-reflective coating. All lenses have a hard coating that will resist scratching under normal use.

The Frames:

Renee’s Readers are slightly edgier versions of proven complimentary shapes and colors. Their design also focuses on such functional details as wider bridges and longer temple lengths for added comfort and larger lens area for easy viewing of your reading material. All of the frames are optical quality, of sturdy construction in premium plastics and metals and most styles feature spring hinges. If you choose, you can have an optician put your prescription in them. All reading glasses come with a high quality cleaning cloth and a convenient eyeglass case that you can wrap its velcro strap around or hook on to your pocket book, briefcase or belt loop so you can easily slip your glasses in it and find them when you need them.
